Set at the historic Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, this two-day celebration brings together 60+ authors, narrators, and vendors for a storybook weekend of literary charm, elegant mountain hospitality, and meaningful fundraising.

The 2027 New England Book Ball is the region's largest author expo and fundraiser for families affected by autism, with 60+ authors, narrators, and vendors gathering for a two-day celebration of books, community, and giving back.
Offering themed panels, games, raffles, contests, crafts, scavenger hunts, and an epic Queen of Hearts Masquerade Dinner Ball with a costume competition, this event blends a premier author signing experience with the unforgettable grandeur of the White Mountains.
Built in 1902 and designated a National Historic Landmark, the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa is a legendary mountain venue with sweeping verandas, grand ballrooms, and a storybook atmosphere that feels both timeless and a little supernatural. Attendees also receive access to a resort room discount and spa savings.

General admission tickets are live and VIP packages are almost gone. The Queen of Hearts dinner ball requires its own ticket. Ball guests must attend at least one expo day; a plus-one may attend the ball without attending the expo.

Romance Author & Publisher — Marilynn Harper is a mother of three who has been writing for almost two decades. Having published her first trilogy during quarantine, she has found her calling and passion in the written word.
While the majority of her work is romance, she also writes children's rhyming books and poetry for kids with autism—a cause close to her heart, which is why 100% of raffle proceeds support children with autism in our region.
Before directing her visions into writing, Marilynn devoted her time to helping women over 30 with weight-loss and confidence boosting as a mindset coach. Now, she's bringing that same dedication to creating an unforgettable experience for readers and authors at the New England Book Ball.
